Compool CP-100 lights issue

I have a 15,000 inground pool in Southwest Florida with a Compool CP-100 control system (indoor panel, spa side wired controller and 120/12 volt transformer). The lights have decided to turn themselves on and off regardless of what the controls are set at. There is no flickering and no regularly timed occurrence that you would expect with an overheating relay or tripping of a circuit breaker or such. They just come on and go off whenever they darned well please. I even installed a manual switch on the wire leading to the lights from the indoor control panel box and it has no effect. None of the electronics on the circuit board appear discolored and the controls for the jets and bubbler work perfectly when turned on at the indoor control panel. However, the wired remote controller at the spa does not function. Attached are images of the indoor control panel and wired remote at the spa.
If anyone has any information as to the cause of this problem I'd GREATLY appreciate it.
