Hayward W3HP21104T heat pump ravaged by rodents

The heater would not turn on this season, and this is why.... The pictures were taken after I cleaned out the mess I found when I opened it. The other mechanical components are untouched. Is it worth it for me to buy the 7 electronic replacement parts from Pool Supply Unlimited, or is this a lost cause? The unit is 6 years old, with light seasonal use. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Rodent urine causes a lot of corrosion that will create continuing problems. I suspect even after you replace the parts you see there will be other unseen problems. That heater will never be the same.

How much are all the electronic parts?

I see corrosion on many of the wire connectors.

I would put your money into a new heater and start fresh.

See if they have a kit for your new heater...
