I've had a 30k gallon plaster pool in a home we purchased in 2016. Initially I took care of the pool for the first year, but second baby arrived, and we hired out a service. Late summer algae issues the past 2 years and high CYA led me to let the pool company go (same song and dance as most everyone here).
Did a 80% drain last week and refill and have a Circupool RJ60+ arriving in a few days to bring the a SWG online.
I've recently replaced a Polaris 3900 with a Pentair Warrior SI; removed the PB4-60.
My plan, in photo attached, is to simply cut the return at concrete line, 90º up then make a straight run to intercept the existing return pipe. In this area, I'll install the SWG.
General question is what to do with the Booster return line to pool. I'll be removing the section I put in dotted line; but the return line that'll be loose. Do I just cap it and leave it be?
Anything I may be missing in this plan? Thanks
