Stainless is what's commonly used, some pricier ground rated lugs come with copper or brass hardware
I’m intrigued by your deck shape. Not sure if you mentioned already, but what are your plans for the arms?
Well, if it’s outdoor furniture it is a pool job... your own!Looks good. Can never have too much room around the pool. The flow looks like its gonna work well with your rendering. Like the furniture too but I dont want to even think about furniture...I got a "btw I ordered the furniture I wanted" last week from wife. Yesterday I saw the cc charge of 9k for it all, shes nuts. Her response was "I put it on the biz card so you can write it off on a pool job honey"
Hahaha! Polywood is definitely a “just don’t even tell me how much” purchase. That said, I didn’t fight it too hard. I. Hate. Maintenance. We’ve built everything here so that the only things that have paint on them are inside, so I wasn’t about to mess that up.Looks good. Can never have too much room around the pool. Our first choice was black, but ended up going with white with tan cushions because the dealer said the black shows dust worse and is hot in direct sun.Love the furniture - what color did you go with?
Also, glad you modified to have all the chairs on the deck - that will look much better!
Totally agree with dealer. You want your furniture usable all season! Our first choice was black, but ended up going with white with tan cushions because the dealer said the black shows dust worse and is hot in direct sun.
We found an awesome dealer who is a small shop and really knows his trade. I love finding people who are really good at what they do. He said the Sunbrella cushions should last us 5-7 years or more if we don’t take them in for the winter and longer if we do, so we’ll see. Was a little nervous about the deep seating since the cushions are integral, but it turns out you can order replacements from a dealer - but not on the website - and they are actually not obnoxiously priced.Agree, big fan of composites for anything outdoors. My breakdown was 4200 for table amd 8 chairs plus for bar stools fornthe outdoor kitchen I just built. 2600 each set 2 sets total of some outdoor large sectionals that shes making a sofa in one spot and a huge U shape in another. Only good thing is you can mix pieces amd build what you want shape wise so we will see how that goes.
Thankfully she went light colors too she knew better than the black she was looking at. Dont like the idea of customers telling me they take their cushions in always as even high end stuff doesnt last outdoors. These cushions are sunbrella we will see what happens. I'm never home so i can't get blamed anyway
Spoken like a true professional. It's so much easier to go to somebody else's house to swim amd eat their food amd drink their beer
Something many people wouldn't think of with an autocover! We have a really nice SoloStove on the patio by the house, was going to move it over by the pool area, but if we are hanging out there and the cover is closed, just too much of a risk for such an expensive cover. We also went with a gas fire pit near the pool and will keep the real wood burning pit by the house.I really wanted a wood fire, but was afraid to have embers flying around that close to the auto cover.
As I was sitting in our garage last week assembling the dozen pollywood chairs, tables and lounges my wife ordered…. My son decided to help out. He inadvertently dropped one the arms of the new Adirondack chairs of which I had to remind him that was a $230 partWell, if it’s outdoor furniture it is a pool job... your own!
$9k? Wow.
