Our pool was shotcreted (is that a word) last Monday. Been watering it twice a day per instructions. Noticed just in one place on the steps there's this white substance or something - not sure if it's normal or an indication of something or what...
I have a tone of it on my new gunite shell. Is this ok also and nothing to worry about? It’s thick and grainy and I can wipe it off. Does it all need to be removed and or treated prior to the waterline tile going in and final plaster. My concern is efflorescence later down the line coming through my dark grey tile and French grey plaster. Any reassurance would be greatly appreciated or if it’s something I need to make sure is addressed as well. I have no clue.
