Algae growing while draining pool

Draining the AGP and apparently just in the nick of time, as the bottom and water are going green. Should I stop draining so I can shock again before draining more before I put it away? Keep draining then do "something" once empty before i store it for the winter? Thanks for the advice.

So you're taking the whole pool down huh? In that case, I wouldn't fill it back up. I'd just let it drain. Give the liner a final scrub & rinse. If you're able, perhaps hit it with a mixture of bleach and water (4:1 ratio should be enough), brush, then rinse well and let dry before putting it away.

Correct, taking the whole thing down to store for the winter. Ok, will just let it keep draining then scrub with bleach water once empty.
Just didn't want my water to go below where my filter would still work from draining if I should have shocked again, and didn't want to refill a bit if possible just to drain it all out.

@Texas Splash got the water down to where its just the few inches at the bottom below the drain plug, can still tell there's green in there when i brush the bottom trying to push more of it and the water toward the drain plug. Should I like shock that little bit of water in the bottom to make sure that kills the algae so then all i have to do is scrub the sides that are now dry? Just trying to be efficient with my time here.

I wouldn't worry about trying to shock that small amount remaining. You're going to store it anyways. Just empty it completely. Once the entire pool is void of water and that residual green stuff, give it a final good wiping-down with a mild mixture of clean water and bleach, then let it air dry really well before rolling it up.
