Coping Grout

Anyone have suggestions on how I can fix this? The pool was built back in the 80s and refinished last year. The grouting is a ish show so my winter project is to fix it up.

I'm thinking I'll need to grind out all the grouting around the pool and come back with some sort of silicone. We have about 2000sq/ft of concrete surrounding the pool and I'm guessing with the heat causes it to expand and cause the issues.

I suspect that joint between the coping and the deck is an expansion joint and should never have been grouted. It should only be filled with flexible mastic like Deck-O-Seal or Sikaflex. That is why you have cracks along the deck.

Thanks for the reply, sorry I been a nuts week just getting back.

That's what I thought as well. I have 250' of 1/2" joints to fill this summer....looks like I have another 100' or so to do.
