Hello, I am currently mapping out an entirely new pump and plumbing set up. I purchased 1 check valve, thinking I would install it a few inches after the pump but I have read and viewed videos of check valves in different locations. I do not think I will have enough space to put one in before the pump unless I expand the concrete platform.
I notice when I shut the pump off, water drains back into the pump and then I assume it goes back down into the pipes and into the pool.
I will be installing a Superflo so I am not sure if this not be an issue when this new setup and plumbing issues are fixed.
Thoughts?
