Spa residue on wall

I’ve just purged the water and put ahhsome as well, refilled and am balancing the chemicals now.
Bromine got a bit high, so I’m letting it go down, but I noticed this gunk build up after running the jets for 30 mins. I’ve also added a bit of calcium just this morning. Wiped it off, same thing happening after running the jets again, could high bromine cause this?

Bromine was around 12
TA is about 40 right now
CH was 75
Ph was 7.4

This is an expected result of purging the system. I have found that you need to continue the purge until the discoloration has stopped before refilling.
Was this your first purge? Describe your process.
It may take more than one cleaning to rid your plumbing of a heavy buildup.

I only purged once with the ahh-some, I had previously purged with some other produce (that had seemed to give similar results to Ahh-some). Spa is not yet one year old. Since the ahh-some purge didn't seem to due anything too extreme I decided to only do the one purge. Once it was done (ran it for 30 mins) I drained the water, washed the walls, vacuumed out the remnant water from the bottom and refilled.

A new spa can have biofilm issues due to not being completely drained when leak tested after assembly.
My spa was not purged for several years of use after purchase. It also was after years of using biquanide as a sanitizer. I experienced your exact situation after several purges until it was resolved.
30 minutes is not much time, I suggest you continue the process (next time) alternating running the jets on high and letting the water sit still.
Wipe the sides frequently at the water line and scoop out any discolored foam you see, I use a close mesh strainer.
Continue this process until you do not see any discolored foam and you are not getting any residue from wiping the sides.
You also may notice the color of the residue changes during the purge.
Make sure you elevate the FC levels during the process as the surfactant exposes the microorganisms.

I'm doing it a second time now, I put more ahhsome and will repeat. However this time the amount of foaming is super low, basically no more foam then when the jets are on *without* any ahhsome. But there is still a bit of goop accumulating via the small amount of foam on the walls. But I guess since there is way less foam it must mean the tub is cleaner then the first time.
 
Another trick I have learned is before adding the surfactant to the tub put the recommended dose in a 5 gallon bucket of warm spa water first then use a paint stirring device attached to a hand drill to completely dissolve the product. Then pour it all into your spa filter box while the pump is running.

Thanks for the help. I did the 2nd treatment (a bit more goop accumulated, but not too much, there was barely any foaming). I also did a better job rinsing it out and now the problem seems to be resolved. I'm guessing there was some ahh-some left in the plumbing the first time when I refilled it. Also I should probably have run it for more than 30 mins the first time.
