Supporting SWG weight

I’m planning the installation of a new pump including a SWG and replumbing everything. My plan was to remove the automatic chlorinator and just come straight out from the pump valve with the SWG (blue) and put the flow sensor in the red part. The SWG is actually quite a bit heavier that I was expecting and I was wondering if it needs to be supported in some way since underground piping isn’t solid. Wondering if vibration or anything will be a problem since in the old setup the chlorinatior was sitting on the ground.

I would dig up that flexible hose and see if you can get rid of it or at least tie in hard piping below ground. Then you would be good. With your current set up you will need support under the elbow.

Probably a rig something up situation.. Go see what they have in the plumbing section for supports. You could use wood, rebar, drive some PVC into the ground. When I ran into a similar issue I used this and some wood. Wasn't that pretty but worked good.
