2.25 pool return inlet?

Are you looking for the piece in your hand or something that screws into that?

It is not clear to me what you are looking for.

I have two 1.5 inch inlets on the walls of my pool. They each come in two pieces that can be separated. All the inlets I am finding online would fit this style / size. However, my stairs have two inlets that come out as one piece and measure 2.25 inches. They both need replacing and I cannot find these online.

I'm learning as I go. :(

I have two broken returns in my stairs. I ended up pulling this out of the wall (from the return plumbing) as it is broken and I wanted to see if I could replace it. However, This will now only go back into the wall about half way. I'm afraid that I am going to have to have someone from my local pool supply store come out and re-install the returns to the stairs to correct this issue. It will likely require them to bust open the concrete and go in from the top. :(

I am confused. The first pic you posted has threads on the inside. The second pic has threads on the outside.

The pipe in the wall in the third pic has threads on the outside.

The fourth pic looks like you are trying to screw the return that has threads on the outside into the pipe that has threads on the inside. That is not going to work.

It looks to me that you screw the fitting in the first pic onto the pipe in the wall. Then you screw the return in the second pic into the first pic fitting in the wall.

not 100% sure but looks to me like the first, second, and fourth pic are all the same piece and it has threads on inside and outside.
