Please I can't get my pool to be Clear and it's been 2 weeks!

Will I be able to start slamming tomorrow after cleaning the pool and adding stabilizer? I work tomorrow Night at 10pm to 6am then I have Wednesday off. I just realized he probably said drop it cause chlorine had a ph of like 8.4, which means my ph with increase with the slamming. Also can I use hth or clorox products from like Walmart or should I stick with my pool stores chemicals?

For the most part, liquid bleach is pH neutral. The main reason you want to drop your pH prior to SLAM is that you won't be able to achieve accurate pH tests with a FC level over 10 ppm. Lowering pH buys you some time since you won't be adding MA during the SLAM. During the SLAM, you'll only need to test FC and CC. Since you have smaller reagent bottles, make sure you use a 10 ml sample for FC/CC testing. When you get your FC up into SLAM range, you can even use a 5 ml sample to save reagents. Use one scoop of powder and each drop will count as 1 ppm. When a more accurate test is required (like the OCLT) go back to using a 10 ml sample.

Use only liquid chlorine bleach. Shop around for the best deal, but be aware bleach comes in different strengths from 6% to 12.5% and the amount used for dosing will depend on that strength. If you use household bleach, use only plain, scentless bleach without additives. Do not use Clorox bleach unless your goal is to make a bubble bath. When you buy liquid chlorine/bleach, check the Julian date and stay away from products that are older than 3-4 months. The Julian date will consist of 5 numbers. The first two are the year and the last three are the day within that year (19 030 is the 30th day of 2019).

Follow SLAM instructions carefully and test and often as you need to maintain FC at SLAM levels.

My understanding is that liquid chlorine has a high pH but it self-regulating because it breaks down into HCl, an acid, which counters the pH rise. So in practice it is neutral.

Do I have to wait 48 hours to slam pool since I have to raise my cya to 30? Since I cant back wash or anything like that
No, hang the sock with CYA and then immediately proceed to SLAM. The backwashing prohibition is only if you add the CYA directly into the skimmer where it will then be trapped in the filter. If you let the CYA dissolve out of a sock there is nowhere for it to get trapped.

Should I vacuum first or does that not matter when doing all of this? Or can I vacuum tomorrow after I've been slamming?
Just do things when you are able to. If you can raise the chlorine level now to stop it from getting worse that would be ideal, and then you can go about removing any debris and vacuuming later on. Just don't run your pump if your baskets are full or the cartridge needs to be cleaned.

So I've been testing my first test before slamming was 1ppm fc and 1ppm cc. Then 2 hours after slamming it was 17ppm DC and 2ppm cc even though I followed the recommended amount of bleach to level. Then just tested again 2 hours later and I got 19ppm fc and 1ppm cc. So should i just wait until morning and test again or what should i do?

It's been a couple of hours since you posted but I hope you went to sleep :) Do a test/add first thing in the morning and go from there. You're doing fine.

Yes. There is nothing linear about FC/CC measurements during a SLAM. Sometimes it seems the chlorine will "find" something new to work on, sometimes it calms down. I suspect it has something to do with sunlight and clouds (UV) and mixing.

I wouldn't read much into it. Just keep that FC up :)
