Leak at the steps from air control fitting

Could use a little help with getting the right part. Pool has been leaking and I finally found it by building a pressure tester and testing the return lines. Found the leak on my last test. My walk in steps have 2 jets one on each side with an air control knob directly above each jet. Looks to me like a flexible 3/4 or 1/2 pvc pipe and it is leaking where it connects to the air control valve. I took a picture of where it connects to the "T" fitting but cant get a picture of what it looks like at the air control valve.

Can someone point me to the right direction of what I need? If easier I could even just cut the line close to the "T" and cap it off as we dont use the air control valves. They both are loose and you have to use needle-nose pliers to hold the bottom part from spinning which is probably what caused this leak in the first place. Anyone had any luck removing the screw part on the air control valve and filling the little pipe from the top with some kind of silicone or spray foam to seal them off? The side that I have dug out I could cut and cap but the other side is a lot of concrete and would prefer not to cut it.

Thanks in advance for all the wonderful help provided by this forum.

Well, there's a PVC nut underneath the fitting that unscrews to loosen it. But I suspect the fitting is glued to the pipe so I'm not sure you'll be able to unscrew it from the top (pool side). I think your idea of sealing them off with a strong sealant is the way to go. Just make sure none runs down into the return pipe.
