Germicidal Clorox Bleach - New Jersey

Hi all. I have read through a bunch of these bleach posts but have not found anything regarding Clorox Germicidal Bleach (pic attached.) Like many, I have become super frustrated with all the bleach companies (and Big Box Stores) recently messing with their formulas, adding "Chloromax Technology" (Clorox) or "Fabric Protection" (Target), etc.

I looked at the Clorox product descriptions on their website and found what looks like 2 possible options: Germicidal Bleach and Outdoor Bleach. Does anyone know if these 2 are safe for adding to my (freshwater) pool?

Alternatively, has anyone in New Jersey found an alternative at any other Big Box Store or a good source for liquid Chlorine? Or possibly anything online? Need something quickly now, can work on lowering the costs later.

Thanks so much for any help!

Many of the Home Depots near you sell HDX 10% chlorine in 3 gallon boxes for about $10 you can save $4 if you buy 4 cases, Lowes also has same strength liquid at a higher price last time I checked. In my area I have found that the HDX is the same price or cheaper per OZ when you adjust for concentration and as long as you pay attention to the date codes, it's always available and I don't have to worry about garbing the wrong thing.

You have to watch where they stock it too. Sometimes I see it in the garden area sitting in the sun!

True! when that happens I am always digging into the palette to get the middle boxes that are a little more protected, I figure every little bit helps. There are a lot of pools in my area so HD's turnover is fairly frequent I try not to buy more than a 3 week supply, most of the time what they have is 2-4 weeks old so I figure even if it's not stored as well as it should be it is still reasonably strong. I work an hour a way from my home in an area most people have pool service, the HD near my work still has chlorine from 2017 :brickwall:
