Hi guys. Bought a house a few months ago and has my first pool. Pebble tech, 17000 gallons or so. There are 2 lever/valves in the ground. One switches from main drain to 2 skimmers. Don't ask me why there are 2 skimmers as I had to plug one in order to get my barracuda mx6 to even move. The other valve/lever switches from attached spa to pool water going in. So the questions...
1) pic attached is the lever which is leaking. Am I screwed here where I'm gonna have to tear the concrete apart and install a better valve? Or anyone know what valve this is where I can open it up and replace the guts? It's in the same type of "bucket housing a skimmer is in
2) I bought a pentair vacmate in order to be able to skim and vacuum but the pump doesn't generate enough power. Pump is a hayward maxflo vs.
