Decided to replace the plastic shims that sit on top of my CoverStar Auto cover track (originals were constantly popping out along both sides of pool). "Easy project" started by pooling out the originals by hand along each side. However, I'm unable to get either my new replacement parts or originals back into place, as both seem to "bottom out" 1/8 inch from all the way in...

Has anyone out there replaced these? If not, can any installers let me know the correct process/order for a new install? The aluminum tracks themselves can be moved slightly (ropes to autocoder still installed).

Coverstar helped solve my problem- I was attempting to slide the shims on TOP of the extruded aluminum tracks... they actually go UNDER! (duh!!!) Anyhow, I guess that's what I get for not leaving one side of the pool "in tact" as a reference.
