I had luck with the Boxer self-adhesive patches. You can also get the Boxer patches that include the vinyl and the brush-on epoxy. I had less luck with that one but I also think I was using too big of a piece and it was hard to keep the epoxy evenly distributed underwater on such a large piece...

I think you're supposed to put it on the ladder. Align the water level in a bucket with the water level in the pool.

Mine was super obvious; water was gushing out. I probably exaggerated when I said the rip was 4" but it was definitely at least 2". The one optimistic point I have is that I think, me being a noob to all of this, I think I did a Crud job applying the vinyl patches. I probably rushed the process...

So maybe try using the Flex Tape in conjunction with the vinyl patch on the INSIDE of the pool as well? From what I've read (online, for what it's worth), the Gorilla tape and the Flex Tape are equally effective.

Gahh, please help. I used both vinyl patches on the inside which slowed the leak to a trickle. I bought another vinyl repair kit with the adhesive and strips, and put a big piece on top of that (no help), put an even bigger piece from there, all the way up the seam to above the water level...

Also, for the record, the side the the posts are leaning toward (the left side) is actually the highest side of the pool (currently 19 3/4" deep). The low side of the pool is around where the ladder is, and it is currently 20 1/2" deep (give or take 1/8" for both measurements).
