    Muriatic Acid Question

Thanks Everyone...My only concern/ thought process with adding directly versus diluting with pool water in 5 gal bucket and then adding is that acid is heavier than water ....didn't want to add directly and have it sit on vinyl on bottom of the pool.

Does anyone have a Solar Saddle and is there other similar products?

The ones I used came with plastic rods to hold the hooks onto the brackets underneath the rail...They are cheap and will break so i got rid of them and used thin bolts with wing nuts.

Does anyone have a Solar Saddle and is there other similar products?

yes, It can be a pain but it sure does keep the solar cover off the ground and if you fan it on them, makes sliding off them to cover the pool easier as well!

Help with Winter Cover: Mesh or Solid?

Rich..I am right above you in MA. I find it true that you will possibly get a cleaner opening with a solid cover however I use a Mesh for our area with a pillow. I use this because The mesh will still capture all the leaves etc, but will allow the water to pass thru from those HUGE snow...

Do you SLAM after a lot of rain water?

Cool Home, I would just follow what duraleigh stated and trust the system...and let the chlorine do it's job. The normal progression is green to less green to hazy white (this occurs as the algae and organic matter dies off) and finally to clear as your filter does it's job. Vacuum up all that...
