That looks intresting. We actualy have been looking for a way to light up the pool in the eavning. We used to have a floating light but it stopped charging.

It was part of the new pool package from a local privately owned company. The only problem I ever had with it was when the little peg broke on the door and it would no longer stay in the skimmer. The foam also doesnt last long.

I wonder if I could somehow attach a 3/4inch male adapter to female hose end to it and screw on a hose when it gets too full. Unscrew when it is back down.

Ah that's an interesting feature. I've never seen a skimmer with an overflow hole before. Usually it just spills out the lid until you set the pump to waste. I guess this would be for heavy rainfall?

For some reason there is a hole with a rubber plug in the upper right hand corner of my skimmer's mouth. I don't know what purpose this hole serves. Has anyone seen anything like this before? My skimmer looks like this one hole is in the upper right hand corner with a rubber plug. Side view

Does anyone have any idea how to get the orange stains off the resin top rail and uprights? It doesn't seem to come off easily even with a scrub brush. I don't want to scratch it up either though.

I have a solar blanket and it is on most of the day except in the evening when people are swimming or I am managing the pool (cleaning, chemicals etc.) The cover is even stained from this. It's really gross. It leaves a nasty orange stain on everything.

If you don't want to drill holes then a solid cover with sandbags or cinder blocks is an option I don't know if this would work with a mesh cover though.
