The minimum on the side is 4 feet, unless there are other easements, etc. I put the pool at the minimum of 4 feet to maximize the rest of my yard.

I just wanted to give an update on my pool. I stopped posting after the forum software update because it will not allow me to upload pictures anymore. I am not willing to host them myself. As an aside, I think it is very shortsighted of the owners of this forum to require people to host their...

Check Out My Design! - Any Gunite Guestimates

My pool is bigger than yours (130 ft perimeter, 707 sq ft, 8.5 ft deep), does not have a spa, does have a 8x12 tanning shelf, does not have the bar area or raised bond beam. My pool took 33 yards.

The pool is starting to progress again. The deck goes in on Monday, so I have been working on the raised jumping platform this week. 20140124_082632.jpg[/attachment:134fzyhj] 20140124_082739.jpg[/attachment:134fzyhj]...

    DIY pool design - Phoenix

If you are going to the expense of automation, then you can program it to turn the Jandy valves and change pump speeds automatically when switching between water feature mode and filter mode. So one VS pump will do. All the VS pumps that I have seen are rated pretty high, like around 3HP. In...

    DIY pool design - Phoenix

Your design looks nice. It appears from the picture of your yard and the layout diagram that the new pool is going to overlap the old pool location? I am not sure what the implications are for that as far as cost. If you were going to put the new pool in a completely new location then the...
