    Water bonding

It certainly seems that way. I guess if that's how the local ordinances are then they have to follow them🤔

    Water bonding

No, I just bonded 4 posts of the pool equally around. The inspector called me this morning and he's hoping that he'll get a chance to stop in today to check it out and he can close my permit.....🤞

    Water bonding

Yes unfortunately I had to get a permit for the pool and since I just moved into this neighborhood in March and don't know the neighbors overly well yet I figured I'd go the right way about doing things:laughblue: I asked the inspector about bonding the water as the rest of the pool is already...

    Water bonding

No, there is no bonding lug on the pump and the skimmer is just one of the attachments that hang off of the side of the pool. I ordered this one earlier in case, hoping that it fits if I can't find anything at the pool store later.

    Water bonding

Hi, I just had an inspector out to sign off on my pool permit and he said I still need to have water bonding in order to sign it off. I have the Intex 2800Gph pump/filter and was wondering what anyone else used to bond it to water. It looks like there are 2 different solutions online, one is...

Plus you live in the same county!! I'm in Geigertown, How about you @anthonypool89 ? I took reading again tonight after adding one gallon of liquid chlorine and a little over two pounds of the stabilizer and these were the readings tonight: FC- 3 CC- 0 TC- 3 CH- Didn't retest, imagine it's...

Good info on that link, hopefully I can avoid SLAMming it for the time being, but if in a couple days I'm not cleared up I'll give that a shot, thank you!

Yeah we have some pretty hard water here, is there anything that I can do to lower the CH?

I tested the water before I added any chemicals and I got: CH-500 TA-80 PH-7.5 Any advice on these numbers so far?

Yes it is granular. I put in it an old pair of pantyhose, but it certainly didn't take days. It probably only took an hour at the most and I put in a little over two pounds. I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed that the pool doesn't stain🤞

I was able to grab 10 bottles of liquid chlorine and 1 bag of chlorine stabilizer (4lbs) from Wal-mart. I think I'm going to throw a gallon of the liquid chlorine and half of the bag of stabilizer in tonight after this storm passes.

Thank you for the response. I think the Pool Math app is telling me to add a gallon of each of those in order to get to 5ppm of chlorine and 30ppm CYA. I wasn't sure because the app just lists numbers and I'm assuming that these numbers are "ppm?" Getting started in this stuff is...

Awesome, that makes sense with the chlorine levels! Going off of the numbers from the app, my pool is just below 12500 gallons so does it seem reasonable to you that I would add a gallon of bleach and a gallon of liquid stabilizer to get the base numbers up? After adding them do I turn the...

Looking at the Pool Math app is it safe to assume that when you all are saying 30ppm that is the same as the "target" number in the app? Also for the 5ppm liquid chlorine that means it is above the recommended level for now? It looks like the app recommends 1-4? I could be reading it totally...
