Thank you. The off part of the valve with the pipe makes sense. I'm trying to figure out where the smaller pipe redirect to and if both valves need to be directing there or only one or what. I want to be able to mark them but clueless lol.

I'll have to mess around with them and see which one gives the most suction to the skimmer. I appreciate the images. Is it usually better for both valves to be open then? Do you know where the pipes that go into the ground go to lead to? Just trying to figure it all out and them them...
