But then how do I know how much chlorine to add each day?

My recommended FC is 3-7ppm based on CYA of 40. Do I need to do the drop test every day since my comparator test only goes up to 5? I have a hard time reading and trusting the comparator test anyway, but it would be nice to just do that one daily.

@PoolStored Do you clean with rubbing alcohol regularly, or just when there's a problem in testing? Thanks!

Interested in this Confer Curve step system, including the add-on. Does anyone know if it will work in the short end of my pool? I'm worried that the curve of the oval will keep it from being flat against the wall. Any experience with this? Thanks!
