That's an interesting idea! And, a lot cheaper in terms of parts [already have a submersible pump if I ever need to drain the pool during winter storms]. How much should dilute the CLR? I want to be gentle on the copper, but also want to make sure I get it clean.

Yes. That would be the line for a blower. The spa is around 60' from the pad -- where all of the lines will be run to. I don't know what a Hartford Loop is. Time to do a little more research!

It's spec'd to be a loop with a single line to the pad.
