Thank you, I did end up taking it apart and the gasket was twisted. I took it out, lubed it up with Vaseline and put it back in for a temporary band aid fix, so I could at least get the pump filtering again. I did find some helpful pics. Thank you for the link to the manual. I was disappointed...

This is my first time getting my pool opened and running by myself, I have everything hooked up and it was pumping/running just fine... a half hour later I glance outside and the water level had drained to almost below my skimmer... leaving the pump to run with out a lot of water and the water...

I had a gentleman, redo my floor, fix some of my walls and install a new liner and he did a fantastic job!! I would be more than happy to share his info, if your still looking, he came out and looked at my pool and was very honest on what he thought he could save, fix or repair.
