    I am using the Taylor kit currently but have found the aquachem strip to closely approximate the Taylor results. Water is still cloudy but bluer. Will have to order the FAS-DPD test as no one locally (15 miles from me) carries it. But, I will continue to shock with bleach and look into hiring...

Once we got back here we noted the "sand" on the bottom of the pool which was somewhat clear at that time. Then we brushed and stirred the "dust" up over the the next day or so...
