Thanks everyone! I re-tested last night, and not much changed except that I had 0 FC now, but that's ok. So I added my CYA and bleach (raising to about 5-6 for now) thus far and ran it for about 8 hours. Installed a new over the rail light that I think will work pretty well, just want to move...

Thanks poolmom! You are correct, I have not circulated yet. Do you think that my CYA level would change (raise) after re-circulating it? Just wondering if I have to run that test again, and use up more of the CYA test chemical!

Very nice!!! My wife's family and I are building a cabin on the Ozarks, around the 80 mile marker. We are looking forward to spending many weekends down there soon :)

What part of MO are you from? I am trying to hold off until May to uncover the pool, but if we get a lot more 70+ days soon, I think I'll have to give in :) Congrats on the opening OP!

I also think that I may need to add a sideways trench too, to catch more of the water. Would a trench that runs parallel w/ that orange fencing be suffice too, or overkill?
