So should i raise my FC to shock level? or since i only lost .5 overnight, assume the cloudiness issue is just from not covering pool overnight and pollen getting in?

Sorry I wasn't very specific and didn't post all the info necessary. At end of day last night, my FC level was 4.5 (after very sunny warm day). This morning I checked it first thing and it was at 4. THEN, per the pool calculator, I added bleach to bring FC up to my target of 6.

Hello. Does anyone know if I can throw my leaf cover in the washing machine on "hand wash" or "delicate" option to clean it? It didn't get put away over winter and was left outside. It is smelly and really dirty. I tried spraying off but too large to get it completely clean that way.

We have a small 18' x 48" ag vinyl pool. Should we be putting the cover on it every night or is it okay to leave it off. It is usually just me trying to put it on every night and becomes very difficult. If it is okay to leave off, I may start doing that.

I tested CYA this past Friday (7/20) and it was 46.

I put the cover on every night so don't think its that. Yes I have the Taylor K-2006 but when I tested the pool this afternoon there wasn't any matter in it and I don't test the CYA every day. Should I test that and post as well?
