    MasterTemp 400 problems

You may get away with the 1 inch. Id expect them to change the regulator to something 1 1/4. The rest of the load will determine what meter you will need. Its easy to exceed even a 630 when you are using 400 just for the pool heater. A 630 install can be done with an 1 1/4 meter bar...

    MasterTemp 400 problems

If you measured it with everything off, that's static pressure and doesn't tell the story. With everything running, it could be sucking the line down and causing a pressure drop. We need to know what it is under load. That's basically the smallest meter available and is definitely choking...

    MasterTemp 400 problems

You're absolutely 8" water column or just above .25psi. Is that with everything running in your house?

    MasterTemp 400 problems

Would also require another regulator on the house. Its probably easiest to get the correct size meter. They can go to a 630 with just a meter bar swap. The utility would handle upgrading the regulator. This also assumes that there isn't more than 230k BTUs worth of load at the property. I...

How much gas pressure do you have with everything running? That meter is only good for a 250 load at 7"

Replacing the heater again, please give me your thoughts on the best brand

Agreed. Its connected with an indoor range flex line. Also looks like the gas line goes all the way to the right and loops back left. Its probably not contributing to these problems but it surely isn't ideal. If the plumber did that, then I would have the whole gas system looked into all...

New Pool Owner- test kit recommendations

TFPro Salt here. I don't regret buying the c600 dipper and slam option. I also got the standard sampler to verify my interpretation. If you're going to get that, do it after testing the pool and few times to get the hang of it.

Thinking about getting a new Pentair pump

Yea. Id just kill the feed. When the time comes, ill do a 220 receptacle to bring the pump inside. Our winters wreck stuff.

Thinking about getting a new Pentair pump

I have an intelliconnect. I could wire it through those relays also. Id have the intelliconnect and breaker that way. I wasnt sure if it needed a disconnect like an AC. I can physically unplug the 120 pump of needed but didnt know if 220 needed to be that way also.

Thinking about getting a new Pentair pump

I have a subpanel right next to it so I can go straight to the breaker. I just didnt know if it needed some other form of physical disconnection.

Thinking about getting a new Pentair pump

Are you guys hardwiring the 220v pumps straight to the breaker or are you adding a manual disconnect inline?

Need Help with Pentair IC40 SWG

If you're going to have the gas piping re-done (and im not saying you should or must) then put an insulated union on it also. There should be one on each side of the buried piping where its above ground.
