My pool does the same thing. The pH lives at 7.8. I add 1/2 jug of acid every few weeks if it seems to creep higher, but for some reason it just settles at 7.8.

Should I add stabilizer to raise CYA or use trichlor tabs/pucks in the floater to slowly increase it? We are about to be gone for a week and I was planning on floating a couple pucks to try to keep the FC as high as possible while we are gone.
