    Hayward Pump at 0 PSI

I still am. I'm going to try adding more water tonight to see if that solves the problem. Haven't checked the door yet but I will do that too. I don't have any valves to close so that shouldn't be a problem. I don't think any of the hoses are clogged.

    Hayward Pump at 0 PSI

So, my wife went swimming today and unplugged the pump since she doesn't like the jets. When I got home I went to get water to test the chlorine and pH, noticed this and plugged it back in. 0 PSI and weak pressure from the return jet. I tried to reprime the pump but unfortunately I can't seem...

Pump to Sand filter tube leak

So, I took your advice and loosener the clamp and slid it out some, then slid it back on until the water seemed to be just right and slowly tightened. It's now like 98% gone:)

Pump to Sand filter tube leak

Everything is new, I just set it up Sunday. It definitely seems to be where the tube attaches to the connector, the the threads are dry otherwise besides a very small drop. Nothing like the constant small trickle in the picture. I'm also thinking replacing the tube with just a pool hose like us...

Pump to Sand filter tube leak

I have a leak where the tube connects from the pump to the sand filter, it seems to be right at the base of the tube. The clamps that came with it I couldn't get to clamp well so I got some hose clamps from Menards. They are as tight as they can get. Don't seem to have any leaks on the pump end...

Is it okay to use Chlorine after Baqucil Metal control (Haven't used any other Baqucil products yet)

So reading more about the pH down it seems like I should have been using the muriatic acid the whole time, even though I have to admit the idea of using a strong acid scares me a little. Thanks again for letting me know I would be fine using the chlorine after the Metal Control.

Is it okay to use Chlorine after Baqucil Metal control (Haven't used any other Baqucil products yet)

I used the Pool Math App on our old pool and it was very useful for it I used it with the new pool to calculate how much pH down to put in. Then I added the Metal Control to get ready for the Baqucil but like I said, started having serious second thoughts. It's good to know that I can still use...

Is it okay to use Chlorine after Baqucil Metal control (Haven't used any other Baqucil products yet)

We just got a new metal frame above ground pool to replace our old Intex pool that was a pain to take up and put down every year. It was definitely a learning curve, but with a lot of help from lurking at the forums here and elsewhere I get a grip on using Chlorine in our old pool. With the new...
