It looks as if it’s bowed due to not filling the pool up and backfilling properly. Your going to have major issues. Do you what they used to backfill? It appears it is bowing at your skimmer basket too if there’s more movement at that location I would fear leaks rather soon. Address this...

Have them lift that pool back out and get it replaced the cracks will start to show after a couple months and it will be too late you will be on the hook 100k redo of your yard.

I noticed while looking at the chart a salt water pool has lower minimums for chlorine than one maintained by liquid chlorine?? Why is this??

Why would anyone choose a DE filter over a cartridge when building a pool? Is it that much cheaper? Just reading over the years it seems people have way more problems with them.

No valve is shut off to the waste which makes me think it could be going bad too

I have a very small leak where the waste pvc pipe meets the valve union. It’s pretty insignificant at this time so I don’t want to call the PB for $150 to swap in a new 5inch pvc waste pipe. Can I just buy some JB weld for pvc pipe around the union there for a quick fix? Thanks

Haha never used the tube on the side of the PH color chart. I’ll just pour the water in there then back into my tester tube that I use on the spinner. Thanks!

I’ve been using the Taylor kit for years testing my pool and had question. For PH test it says fill the tube to 44ml but there is no line for it. I’ve just eyeballed it for years. Anyone have a mark on it?

My PH is sitting at 7.5 right now after testing. It appears my TA is right at 40. I’m trying to raise it to either 70 or 80 but am worried it will bring my PH too high and I’ll be battling back and forth. Should I lower to around 7.3 and then add baking soda for my TA?

Correct you have to have the waterline right you can’t drain your pool well below filter and do this

Don’t even waste your time with a mesh cover. I’ve had an autocover 4 years now using it as my winter cover. We’ve had winter storms with 18 inches of snow then rainstorms right after and freezing on top zero issues.

Glad I found this thread! As soon as I upgraded the firmware my salt cell was stuck generating chlorine no matter what the percentage was at. Called the pool company and told me how to revert back to the previous firmware and everything is perfect again. He said tons of people have been...

Turns out my cell was still very good. The problem ended up be the latest firmware update on the IntelliCenter. The update was bad and I reset back the the previous firmware version and everything is tip top again.
