I believe it is the single best small appliance I have ever purchased!! I have the DM2000 I think and I just got 2 additional pitchers to make extra drinks! Had mine for 8 years I think and everyone says it makes the best Margaritas they've ever had. Smoothies, Daiquiris and Pina Colada's too...

I just started researching the Sonos system for my backyard needs also. Isn't the Play 3 small/portable enough to just bring in and out whenever you need to? Not sure why it needs to be weatherproofed?

I just picked up a couple of 11' California umbrellas at amazon after lots of shopping. Needed sunbrella and aluminum poles for the AZ sun. Best deal I found after looking at SAMs, costco, patio shop and eBay.

I started hosing mine down about 3 hours after they left. Put a sprinkler on it 90 minutes on/120 minutes off several times a day for 5 days. They said the best thing to help it cure would be a slow steady rain but we don't get much of that in AZ. Made my own.

May I ask where you picked up your chaises? Been looking for a few of those and haven't seen them yet. Everything is plastic wicker.

If you've sat in it and it's comfortable and seems durable enough then go for it. I find that a lot of stuff out there just doesn't support my lower back like I need it to but I have lower back issues. DOH!

Re: New Build in Phoenix *UPDATED 3/25* I'm in AZ too and I was quoted $11 for artistic and $8 for travertine. The claim for Artistic was man made, so safe by my salt pool and cooler than travertine. With 1500 sq. ft. of decking we went w/travertine.

Is that a pergola and outdoor kitchen at the back of the lot? If so I would recommend the grill/kitchen be closer to the house unless you have a fridge/freezer in your plans?
