I like the frame, but am I the only one who doesn't see how that frame became that skinned island? Are these 2 separate projects? Either way, both are much neater and cleaner than my build.

Once I cut them out, I just glued and screwed two cedar planks across the back of the cut-out pieces at the top and bottom If they were any bigger, I would have done a third diagonal piece as well, but it wasn't needed. Each door is 4 planks wide.

Yes, the self tapping screws work great. You get in to a groove after a while. By the time my 1000th screw was in, it was second nature. :)
