    Concrete forms for the patio are done. I went with 1/4" slope per foot to ensure proper drainage. I did notice that after pouring the concrete collar or from the winter freeze, one of my walls had a slight bow to it (+-1/4"). Barely noticeable to the naked eye, so I dug up the stone to expose...

    Thank you. Thankfully 95% of all the connections in the pool are socketed with cement. I think I read “do not over tighten” 5 times in that link. :confused:

    2nd set of main drains. I can’t win. I must be tightening these too tight. 1st set I ordered the wrong size, second set I cracked both sides. 3rd set I cracked the right one. 4th times a charm. I’m going to count how many spins it takes to get this set off and just do 1 less rotation.

    Yep I agree! I’m going to blind flange off the faces of the main drains and pressure test the entire system once I’m done. I’m just worried water froze somewhere else and compromised piping in the main drain system. I poured a bunch of coolant down before I plugged the drains, but you really...

    At first I was slightly annoyed that you could not purchase a single main drain (I understand why), however the second one came in handy once I realized the other one was cracked. Both installed.
