I see that! And Ace too. The clerk at Lowes said they stopped making it (environmental reasons). Either he was wrong or they are allowed to use up their stock. In which case, any other suggestions? Thank you.

We deep clean ours every 3 weeks or so (it's in an airbnb) and used to use inexpensive TSP, but now they've stopped making it. I see Amazon has a Leisure Time filter cleaner but at $18 a pop, it's a bit pricey!

I do check it quite often and rarely have a problem.

It's a solid-granules. I believe it is not cyanuric acid.

It is not Trichlor. And isn't monopersulfate acidic? pH of 2.1 apparently.

The non-chlorine shock is acidic too.

Oh, the chlorine. What I use (granules in a cartridge) is supposedly released as needed.

TA 20, pH I am not sure of the number but the test sample was yellow. 375 gallon hot tub using chlorine-the Frog in-line chorine system with a chlorine cartridge.

I’ve read that alkalinity and pH should not change that much and only need to be tested weekly. That’s not true of mine -it can be fine & I can go in alone for a half an hour and the next morning when I test, it’s WAY low. I use a drop test kit. Is there something wrong this indicates? Can...
