Hmm it may have. We weren't sure why it died although it had started to act wonky with how it cleaned. We still used an extension cord. We aren't using a regular one that you would use for Christmas trees or anything.

I just had to replace my previous Dolphin which was a good boy but passed away after almost 3 years. I came here and settled on a Pentair Prowler 920 through Marina pools, spa and patio. They were awesome btw!! So we have to use an extension cord. My pool is out in the yard( where it should be)...

I have a Dolphin Triton PS that was recommended on here. I have had it for 4.5 years. It started stopping mid vacuum and now it won't work at all. So I need a replacement. I believe I got it from Doheny's. Is this still one of the most recommended vacuums? I cannot locate it on the website, so...

We ended up having it replaced since it went caput. We aren't knowledgeable with this kind of thing and had to unfortunately pay the pool company to put a new one in. Im so annoyed we had to buy another pump after two years. They left us the old motor and we can see how corroded it is around...

If I find a leak what do I do with that? Tell the pool company? Do I need another type of seal?

My husband was looking for a leak but didn’t see anything . Maybe he missed it. No the area was never submerged. Do I just have the pool company put in another motor? I’m not sure what to do.

I don’t know what unions are but will yell my husband. So we should keep the pump inside?

I don't know about the 15 or 20 amp circuit. The pump motor is pretty close to the control panel
