    New plaster and high CH

I assumed you had a SWG. Since you gave a salt reading.

    New plaster and high CH

Mine is 575. I replastered in September of last year. At one point it was approaching 1000. I drained and got it down to 400 in December. As long as you keep ph in range, it is not a problem. Your CSI is good. Don’t worry about it. Concentrate on increasing your CYA and chlorine. Salt levels...

I reset my router and the aqua link is still offline (red dot). My service was done today though. Edit: just came online. Give it a little time.

New pool with new plaster, TA, and pH

I’m going on 6 months and still adding about 1/2 gallon a week, maybe more. I even tried boric acid and still have the ph swings.

    PH target

I think as long as you’’re in range, that’s what counts. I would set a set of parameters within the ranges that are as close to 0 as possible, and maintain those numbers weekly.

Fired pool company and got a Taylor-K2006... problem with high CH

Well the reason I have been adding that much acid is to bring down the ph from 7.8 to 7.3 because I read to do that in the SWG balance article here. No other chemicals are being added as everything else is relatively stable. I will leave it at 7.8 (better for CSI anyway) then and dose when I...

Fired pool company and got a Taylor-K2006... problem with high CH

I will test my fill water but no, I don’’t add water regularly. Maybe every two weeks. Just had all leaks repaired when I redid my pool.

Fired pool company and got a Taylor-K2006... problem with high CH

Finally had success in dropping all my levels to recommended range. FC 6 TA 80 Ph 7.8 CYA 80 CH 250 Salt 3500 My question is: why is my acid level always so high. With a target of 7.8, my CSI is very good, but according to the TFP salt water balance, every time PH hit 7.8 I should drop it...

    Digital Ph Guage

Funny I ran into this Thread. I just ordered one made by DILISS. I read good reviews on it. Will let you know how it works once I receive it. I agree, the Ph is the most difficult to read. The CyA is a close second.

Fired pool company and got a Taylor-K2006... problem with high CH

Ok. Did another water exchange to get my CYA down to 80-90. As a result my CH dropped down to 240, but I am not too worried about it. My question is, since I have done a total replacement of water, is a sequestering agent needed? Can you recommend one for a SWG? I was looking at Jacks Magic...

    New Resurface Uneven Floor.. Help

I have the same imperfections that are highlighted with my LED lights. I brushed everyday and did the acid treatments and they are still as visible as day one. I come to understand that this effect is completely normal and have accepted it as such.

Fired pool company and got a Taylor-K2006... problem with high CH

I know I was told to wait and perform dilution test but I couldn’t. My only level that is out of wack currently is CYA. I performed the dilution test this evening and I can say with certainty that CYA is 120. Currently my FC is 11.5. Do I do another partial exchange??? Or do I just manage a high...
