Sounds good. I'll go out and turn it now. Tested at 3:30 and the FC is 18. Swept and no water I'm going to backwash the filter. Looking forward to doing some swimming! ?

Was gone all day. Covered up the pool and came home to still clear water and a FC of 21. Will uncover, sweep and backwash the filter tomorrow morning. Now to get the pH straightened out. At what FC level will I have accurate pH measurements?

4pm - FC 22.5 CC is still 0 Added 1 jug of bleach as per pool math. Water is almost crystal clear. Looking really good. I will do a OCLT tonight and see where I'm at with that.

A conundrum. The water is even more clear now. I have swept it twice today. There were small piles of what looks like sand at the bottom. I got all of those swept up and the water is starting to sparkle again. I will check my chlorine levels again at 4:30 and see what I lost during the day in...

So I staggered my bleach additions during the evening. The pool is much clearer already today. I must have pushed the chlorine levels a little too much. I tested this morning and the FC was 17. I added the prescribed amount of bleach and I tested at noon and the FC was 31. I'll keep an eye on it...

I can't get my hands on any Borax right now, so is adding bleach most important right now?

So according to the calculator I need to add abou 7 bottles of bleach?

Current test results: F.C. .5 C.C. 0 pH 6.8 T.A. 110 CYA 70 C.H. 100 Our water has been clear all summer even through the transition to the TFP method. I can see the bottom, but it is really cloudy. I added the amount of bleach that pool math called for to get the F.C. To 9. I don't have any...

So my goals should be different than the default?

Pool Math is telling me 32oz of baking soda for the TA and 144oz of Borax for the pH. That seems like a lot of Borax? I will say though that the water is great. Clear and much less noticeable chlorine/chemical feel and smell to it. Our water was getting so bad it was ruining our daughters...

New Numbers F.C.-10 C.C.-0 T.A.-90 PH-6.8 My T.A. And pH are all that concern me right now. Any suggestions on straightening that out? I have the eyeball pointed up and aerating the water.

Just keep an eye on the chlorine at this point?
