I would consider myself pretty handy, but I have yet to find instructions on how to replace the motor bearings on my motor. I could probaly figure out how to do it, but because I am older now, and have learned many lessons from taking stuff apart :hammer: I would really like some instructions...

The noise started this past summer, so I replaced all the seals/gaskets (shaft seal), that seemed to work for a while, as the noise has returned, I am not sure that replacing those seals help. I would hate to spend $300 on a new motor, is there anything I can check/take apart and replace???

When my filter system comes on, the motor not the pump make a noise, its hard to explain, its not squeling like bearings, but the noise goes up and down, after the pump/motor run about 10 minutes it disappears and sounds normal, it does this everytime it turns on, I have replaced the shaft seals...

Sounds like more hassle than its worth, besides, DE is about $20 at Home Depot or Lowes, DE is also hazardous to breath in so I would not want to bring it in the house and definitly in the oven where you cook your food Rob

WOW $85 a week, I hope that is including any chemicals needed and a vacuum? If I lived closer Id do it for half that :-D
