I removed about two weeks of organic material from the filters today and added 85 oz of liquid chlorine. Should I expect to add chlorine everyday or can this be a weekly thing?

I am doing the Free & Combined Chlorine test (FAS-DPD) and I feel like. I dropped at least 10 dippers of the R-0870 and it hasn't turned pink.

my test kit just arrived. didn't add in any chlorine last week so curious what kind of readings i will get. i couldn't figure out how to turn on the pump until today so probably need to get going with adding chlorine soon.
