High voltage leak on ProLogic GLX-PCB-PRO board

I will work on the scope setup, my Tektronix 456 scope hasn't been powered up in about 12 years. The voltage is easily seen with a DVM set to AC Volts and probed from any of the com port terminals to equipment ground (bare wire from main breaker box). Note that I took the board to the bench...

High voltage leak on ProLogic GLX-PCB-PRO board

I have a PS-4 with the GLX-PCB-PRO board. I am developing software to drive my VSP pump motor with an external industrial VFD instead of the Hayward drive electronics, which just fails too often. I have the system working. Using an ESP32 micro driving two serial ports and RS485 converters. One...

Replacing pump, but new suction position is 1 inch lower than old one. What to do?

You didn't indicate the model of the new pump. If it is a Hayward, you can look at an SPX3200SR or SPX3200WF. These are plastic riser bases. The WF is 1.11 inch, the SR is 2.77 inch. Both are on Amazon.

Strange wear in diverter valve body

I moved to Florida about 18 months ago and acquired a pool with our new to me house. It has a Pentair 2"-2 1/2" 3-way diverter valve on the suction side of the pump that selects pool or spa suction. It has an actuator on it. It spends 95% of it's time (99% of all statistics are made up on the...
