    Latest on Jacuzzi pumps?

Been several weeks since the install... and so far, I am very impressed! It is quiet! Noise level decreased about 20 decibels... currently in the mid-50s on high speed. When it is on the low speed, I can barely hear it. It is/was easy to operate and program. I had a few issues with the...

Thanks for responding... I went ahead and pulled the trigger today and started the install this afternoon. I will say that it looks nice (nice and sleek)... but having issues with the plumbing, so will have to finish tomorrow (I hope). Few notes: Jacuzzi is owned by Leslie's My pump was...

    Latest on Jacuzzi pumps?

Evening all. I need to replace my single speed Pentair pump - bearings are about shot. My local Leslie's has a Jacuzzi VSP-150, which seems like a very good deal (based on price). That said, I haven't seen any recent posts about Jacuzzi pumps... anyone have an update? I heard a rumor they...

Can I close off the skimmers?

Live in TX and going on vacation for a week. Concerned that the water level will drop / evaporate below the skimmers. Can I close the skimmers... and open the main drain and suction line? Any issues? I put a timer on the manual fill line... but just looking for other options. Thanks. Rick

    Older Pool with issues... maybe?

Understand about the pool settling... and not overly worried about it because I haven't seen any major issues. But I have been adding water more frequently than I have at other houses (but those had auto-fillers). Thus... the leak in the tile grout question.

    Older Pool with issues... maybe?

Good morning all. Two questions... 1. We have a pool that is 15-20 yrs old (just moved into the house). And last week I noticed pool is not level... meaning the water on the shallow end is higher on the water line tile than the deeper end. It is probably a good one inch difference. Should...

    Removing plaster

Good evening all. Looking to replace my plaster later this summer. Any advice on type? I am only familiar with PebbleTech (meaning I know the name). Are there others? Goods / bads…. Also, planning to replace the lights at the same time... LED still the right choice? Gracias!

Which robotic cleaner for sand & debris

Purchased a S300 today. Looked and looked for a couple weeks... had it narrowed down to a S200, S300 or S300i. Only reason for the S300i for me was the upgraded filter... but Marina swapped them out for me. Looking forward to getting it.
