I’m sure they were the cheap knock offs. The 2nd thermistor that is in there now is pentair. The motherboard and touchpad are knockoffs.

I'm have the temperature set on the heater to 100. If I isolate the pool I feel It will go until it reaches 100. If I isolate the spa the heater turns off a few minutes after the spa is isolated. The pool and spa are currently around 72.

Once I removed the old circuit board and touch pad and the new ones seemed to work I threw old ones away. I'll dig into manifold and see if anything looks broken.

I checked/cleaned off the thermal regulator last year. Not sure what the intrapersonal bypass in the manifold is. Will need to research that. Need to find the best price for the OEM board and touch pad.

Whenever I turn it on it immediately trips the gfci. I replaced the GFCI. No fix. Pool company wanted over $1500 to replace the light. The old one was a Pentair Amerilite. I think they are discontinued. I have found a Pentair SpaBrite lite. Not sure if that is the proper replacement.

When is it just the spa light leaking and that needs to be replaced?
