Hello all, I have a circa 2006 Pentair Tagelus TA100D. I can see water coming out between the tank and the first plastic insert, so figuring the o-ring needs replacement. (See blow-out diagram) It's leaking between part 3 and the tank... so I want to replace the o-ring part 4. Question...

I got a wrinkle like that.. my pool builder said it was the ground water pushing it up from the enormous amount of rain we had at the time. When I get my light niches replaced I'll try to get them out when the water level is down.

As I think noted here.... you must must must cover it with a UV absorbing cover when its on the reel. It degrades so quickly if you don't. I have Sun2Solar... got clear (yes, it gets dirty.. oh well), got the 1200 Series. It last 4 years. It has a warranty and a portion of money back...

Hi All, Wondering if anyone can recommend a free/cheap'ish software (I'll pay some if it's worth it) that i can use to design 2D drawings of my pool hydraulics and electrical. I'm looking to map what I have, and use it to map what i want to do with new automation... etc. and just get organized...

I've tried a couple low budget solutions. Failed miserably. I have to span about 23', by about 37', so ended up spending the money and got a Rocky Reel with the heavy duty commercial 4" tubing. I'm into my second season, and it's like new, and doesn't bend AT ALL. Loving it. Residential...

Also, for what it's worth.... I have an undersized heat pump for my size pool from the previous owners, and the pool cover completely saves me DAYS of time reheating the pool to where the wife and kids really love the water, and as mentioned above, it's because of those random really cool days...

I tried these for cover sizes (2 sections for my also weird shaped L pool), and these things really didn't last... I got one season out of them. Let me know if you want to discuss the problems I had directly.

In my area, they are in full fledged nesting mode... I don't have the thing sounding off at night... by morning, dang things are all over my trees. So in the morning I put it to "random short interval" mode... usually by 10am they are all gone and that incessant noise gets quiet. We can't...

Good luck @DiverGirl1972 ! I was skeptical too... as this thing at first had bad reviews.... because their version 1 didn't account for grackles. But their version 2 is specifically for grackles and other black birds, and it has worked like a champ for me. Their instructions do say it can...

I've had the grackle issue last 3 years.... but this year.... this year is different. The Grackles show up every year and start to holler in my everygreen trees all around my pool, and I'd see them dive bomb the poop into my pool constantly, or leaving the poop sacks all along the edges...

Just got 15 seasons out of the first one. Could've likely stretched it out further with some of that Gorilla Waterproof patch and seal tape.. lol.
