No I stopped at 3 gallons. . So there wasn’t any more added after I checked and got the reading of 12ppm. Been vacuuming and brushing down the sides and floor of pool and vacuuming again. Tonight’s reading after adding 3 gallons chlorine (after waiting an hour) was FC 14.5 ppms and CC .5, PH 7.6...

Ok. This mornin FC 11.5 (drop of .5 from last nights reading) CC .5, ph 7.6, Total alkalinity 40.

So testing at dusk gave me 0 FC. I added 3 gallons 10% chlorine. 1 hour later tested got FC 12 CC .5 . It looks like 1 gallon raises FC IN MY POOL 4ppms. I will check it in the morning and post results.

It could have been my mistake in counting drops because last night it was 23 drops and this morning it was 24 drops (I get crossed eyed watching and counting.) it’s probably my mistake.

Honestly, I don’t get it either unless I am testing wrong. When I put the chlorine bleach in the pool the FC is 0. I take my first sample about 30 minutes after I add three gallons of chlorine. I use two dippers of the powder. It turns it red! Then it take 160 to 180 drops to get the water in...
