Suggestions for scaffolding for cantilever coping finishing

Long story but trying to figure out the easiest option for a platform for concrete finishers to work on new coping that’s about to be poured around around our existing pool. The bottom of the deep end curves so much that regular scaffolding isn’t really an option. Other ideas that would give our...

How to remedy new pool waterline tile out of level

We’re redoing our pool coping and tile (not the plaster) and the tile guys installed the new tile about 1/2” out of level from one end of the pool to the other. The pool does seem to have popped up at one end — that or the beam was never level to begin with — and I’m wondering whether we should...

    Recommended no drain acid wash?

Planning to do it myself but hoping to avoid a full drain and acid wash. My impression was that these no drain options were less harmful/likely to cause damage as well, but please let me know if this isn't true. Thank you

    Recommended no drain acid wash?

Hi all, Is there a preferred no drain acid wash from the experts on this forum? Hoping to avoid draining the pool and removing some tough scale the hard way. (Have tried keeping CSI between -0.3 and -0.6 and brushing but no luck. Even a pumice stone didn't have much luck with the stuff I have.)...

Help with rock hard calcium -- I think -- build-up issue

Apologies, this is the product that I thought was dry muriatic acid but apparently is not: Amazon.com: Clorox Pool&Spa pH Down, 5-Pound 10005CLX (2 Pack): Sports & Outdoors I tried scraping the scale that remains but it turns immediately to dust so small that I can't really capture it. The...

Help with rock hard calcium -- I think -- build-up issue

Thank you, and I used probably 10 pounds each of dry cyanuric and muriatic acid last fall but have been using liquid muriatic acid ever since and added just one five pound box of dry cyanuric acid this summer. Does this help? Thanks!

Help with rock hard calcium -- I think -- build-up issue

Hi all, New to the forum and one year into pool ownership. I screwed up wtih extremely poor (non-existent) winterization and opened our pool up this spring to find crystals covering the walls of the pool. They have thankfully greatly diminished with keeping the ph low and scraping/brushing, but...
