Thanks, Chris! Yes, I didn't expect it to last this long. My guess is that because our pool is <1/2 the size that it is meant to supply, maybe we got double the life out of it.

I think ours has finally died after 10 (maybe more) years. I'm leaning toward an OEM if I can get as many years out of it as I got from the original Hayward T-15. Any recommendations for a trusted online retailer with decent pricing? Thanks!

We have used them for a few years and they have significantly reduced the number of dead frogs (and other critters) we find in the skimmer basket, of course YMMV.

Thanks! Aha, they did use pucks/sticks at start-up, which I figured would help me with CYA anyway, so that likely has helped the pH stay in line. But otherwise I've been adding bleach as need. The "Regular Clorox" unfortunately is the best I could find between Safeway, Target and Home Depot...

My pool is straight-up white plaster, no blue specks. My water is blue. I assume the same for white with blue specks.

Thanks everyone for your help. They did come through and replace the worst tiles that were set improperly, the issue was that the edges of the tiles were not set flush with each other, and in person you could definitely see where they joints were jutting out and the grout was unsuccessfully...
