I am an (BS) electrical engineer who also has written a lot of software in my career. I am now pretty much am doing exclusively software. Currently, I am working as a test engineer designing software to test product. I also have an MBA (with honors) but really don't do the management type stuff. Because of this, I tend to be a bit picky and a bit of a know-it-all... but for the most part if I am arguing about it, I've at least researched the topic in detail! TFP is about measuring and testing, and then doing as little as possible with the water to keep it balanced. This is a great fit for a test engineer.
