I took out the diverter valve and set it back in to ensure the o-rings were all correct. Seems to work fine and doesn't leak any water when manually moving. Not sure what happen but I'm going to keep an eye on it.

Howdy, My booster pump makes strange noises on startup that eventually disappear after running for a few minutes. Is this indicative of a pump that is about to go out? It's the original pump when my pool as installed 15 years ago and hasn't had any maintenance done since at least 3 years ago...

Thanks Jim. The warranty is being handled from a vendor that's very popular with TFP. Maybe they forgot about me, so I'll follow up with them.
